Armonk Outdoor Art Show Announces 64th Annual Show, Celebrates 2026 Organization Of The Year Honors, And Launches 2026 Armonk Has Heart
Nationally recognized art show returns September 26 & 27, 2026, while public art initiative transforms downtown Armonk into a month-long celebration of creativity and community.
Armonk, NY, June 2026 — The Armonk Outdoor Art Show is proud to announce its 64th annual show, taking place Saturday and Sunday, September 26 and 27, 2026, while also celebrating a remarkable year of recognition and community impact.
The Art Show has been named Armonk’s 2026 Organization of the Year and has been honored with proclamations and commendations from New York State Assemblyman Chris Burdick, Westchester County Legislator Margaret Cunzio, Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins, and Congressman Mike Lawler in recognition of its longstanding contributions to the community.
“We are incredibly honored to be recognized as Armonk’s 2026 Organization of the Year,” said Rosner. “These awards and proclamations reflect the dedication of our volunteers, artists, sponsors, community partners, and visitors who have helped make the Art Show a cherished tradition for more than six decades. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another unforgettable celebration of art, community, and heart.”
One of Westchester County’s most anticipated annual events, the Armonk Outdoor Art Show is consistently ranked among the top fine art shows in the country and proudly showcases the work of approximately 160 exceptional artists from across the nation.
Artists are selected through a competitive juried process that evaluates originality, visual impact, technique, and conceptual depth. This year, there were a record number of applications – nearly 700! The 2026 show will feature a dynamic mix of returning favorites— many of the top-selling artists from previous years—alongside new exhibitors presenting fresh perspectives and innovative work.
Visitors can explore a wide range of artistic mediums including oils, acrylics, watercolors, mixed media, printmaking, drawing, pastels, sculpture, photography, digital art, fiber art, and fine crafts. With artwork available at all price points, there is truly something for every taste and budget.
The Family Activities Tent remains a favorite destination for the show’s youngest visitors, offering complimentary hands-on art projects including scavenger hunts, art-making activities, story time, and more. Guests can easily spend the day discovering art while enjoying a variety of lunch, snack, dessert, wine, beer, and cocktail offerings available throughout the event.
The Art Show is made possible by more than 300 dedicated volunteers committed to supporting the community. All net proceeds benefit the Friends of the North Castle Public Library and ultimately support the library’s branches in Armonk and North White Plains, helping fund educational programming, cultural events, and the Armonk Players theater group.

Now in its 64th year, the Armonk Outdoor Art Show is a nationally recognized, juried art event showcasing exceptional fine art and fine crafts from approximately 160 artists across the country. The show is organized by volunteers, with all net proceeds benefiting the Friends of the North Castle Public Library, a nonprofit organization that supports programming and services at both branches of the North Castle Public Library.
Armonk Has Heart Returns for 2026
Building on the tremendous success of last year’s public art initiative, the Armonk Outdoor Art Show, with support from the Armonk Chamber of Commerce and the Town of North Castle, is excited to announce the return of Armonk Has Heart for 2026.
Launching on August 26 and for the full the month leading up to the Art Show, twenty original tabletop-sized sculptures created by participating Art Show artists will be displayed inside businesses throughout downtown Armonk. The initiative will transform local storefronts, restaurants, offices, and gathering spaces into a walkable communitywide Art Stroll that celebrates creativity, supports local businesses, and builds excitement for the show.
Inspired by the overwhelmingly positive response to the large heart sculptures featured during the inaugural 2025 Armonk Has Heart campaign, this year’s format encourages even greater interaction between residents, visitors, artists, and merchants.
“We were amazed by the community’s response to Armonk Has Heart,” said Nancy Rosner, Managing Director of the Armonk Outdoor Art Show. “Residents and visitors loved discovering the sculptures throughout town, sharing photos, supporting the businesses that hosted them, and ultimately supporting the North Castle Public Library through the online auction. This year’s program builds on that momentum by bringing art directly into our local establishments and creating an engaging Art Stroll experience for everyone.”
Each sculpture will be uniquely designed by a participating artist, creating a diverse collection of original works that reflect the creativity and character of the community. Maps, artist information, and participating business locations will be available, making it easy for visitors to explore the Art Stroll and experience all twenty sculptures.
“The success of Armonk Has Heart demonstrated how public art can bring people together and create a real sense of community,” said Liz Green, Artist Liaison for the Armonk Outdoor Art Show. “This year’s iteration of Armonk Has Heart gives visitors another opportunity to experience creativity throughout town while supporting the businesses that make Armonk such a special place.”
The sculptures will ultimately be auctioned to benefit the North Castle Public Library, furthering the Art Show’s longstanding mission of supporting community enrichment through the arts.
