The 59th Annual Armonk Outdoor Art Show will feature 160 juried artists from across the US and Canada, including 31 new artists. A broad range of art in every medium and price point will be on display, including painting, printmaking, drawing, pastels, mixed media, sculpture, photography & digital art, wearable art, and fine crafts.

An annual must-do event for thousands of discerning art lovers from the NY metro area and the Hudson Valley, the show has consistently been Ranked #2 or #3 Fine Art and Design Show in the Nation, based on sales reported by exhibitors to Sunshine Artist, America’s premier art and craft show publication.

This Year…It’s All About the Art!

With great attention to health concerns, we are committed to presenting high-quality art in a safe environment. Our field layout will provide 6 feet of open spaces between artists tents and extra-wide aisles to accommodate safe distancing. No bus transportation will be offered from parking lots to the field. Patrons will be required to wear masks, visitor counts will be monitored and limited, and we will follow recommended governmental guidelines.

While family-friendly and hands-on-art activities will not be available, we hope to announce a selection of food vendors, closer to show time.

Our new website will allow you to get acquainted with the field map to plan your visit. You’ll also be able to explore the roster of exhibiting artists, images of their work, and connect directly with artists in advance of the show. Follow our social media for daily art show updates, beautiful art and inspiration!

Plan to visit our beloved Art Show, nearly six decades strong, to meet the fabulous artists that applaud our spirit and commitment to presenting their artwork, especially this year. Together, through net proceeds of the show, we’ll support our local library, funding educational and entertainment programs for all ages, furnishings and upgrades, and The Armonk Players theater group. It’s a promise of reuniting with friends and uplifting our community.

I hope to see you at the show!

1Mission & History

The Armonk Outdoor Art Show, is a fine arts and fine crafts juried show sponsored by the Friends of the North Castle Public Library, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Proceeds benefit the North Castle Public Library, educational and entertainment programming, and The Armonk Players theater group. The Art Show is run by more than 300 community volunteers. Armonk, a hamlet in the Town of North Castle, is located in Westchester County, 35 miles north of New York City. In 1961, the Friends of the North Castle Public Library started an outdoor art exhibition to raise funds for the library. With only a handful of artists showing their work on the lawn of the Armonk Methodist Church bordering Main Street, the Armonk Outdoor Art Show was born. The show soon outgrew the churchyard and was relocated to the parking lot in front of the library. As the show and its crowds grew, the venue again changed, first to the Legion Field in front of Town Hall and finally to its current home at Community Field in 1997. Now, more than a half century later, nearly 200 exhibitors are chosen from hundreds of juried applicants from across the country and around the world. This celebration of fine art and fine crafts, displayed in a bucolic tree-lined park, has grown to become one of the nation's most highly rated art shows. Each year, thousands of art lovers come to see an ever-changing display of paintings, photography, sculpture, jewelry and more.
